Agritech Automation

IoTAutomationAgricultureMQTTESP32

IoT-based greenhouse and irrigation automation with environmental sensing, MQTT data pipelines, and remote monitoring dashboard.

Overview

An IoT automation system for greenhouses and irrigation, combining environmental sensing, MQTT data pipelines, and a remote monitoring dashboard for hands-off, data-driven operation.

Challenge

Greenhouse and irrigation automation has to work outdoors, on a budget, and over flaky connectivity. Sensors drift, power is unreliable, and a missed actuation can cost a crop — so the system has to sense accurately, act locally, and still report remotely.

Approach

Sensing, actuation, and a cloud pipeline

  • ESP32 sensor/controller nodes reading temperature, humidity, and soil-moisture
  • Automated irrigation and environmental control driven by local thresholds, so the system keeps working even when the network drops
  • MQTT data pipelines feeding a remote monitoring dashboard for visibility and overrides

Results

  • Hands-off greenhouse/irrigation operation with remote monitoring

Add to confirm: deployment size, sensor types, and any yield/water-savings figures.
